This information covers our activities related to the ejipos.org website, the operator's pitservice.hu website, and the provision of services advertised on these websites.

We do not engage in activities that would justify the appointment of a data protection officer.

3. How do we come into contact with the personal data we process?

3.1 Contact via the form on our website

If you click the "Request a Quote" or "Contact" button on the website, you will find a contact form.

What data do we ask for, why, and on what basis?
We provide this option so you can conveniently contact us directly from the website. We ask for your name, email address, and the name of your institution. We process this data based on your consent; your message does not constitute a newsletter subscription in any way. The form is protected against spam by Google reCAPTCHA.

How long do we keep this data?
Your message lands in our own inbox. If no business relationship is established, we will delete your email immediately. When a business relationship is established, we delete your data immediately after fulfillment.

How can you withdraw your consent?
You can withdraw your consent by sending a message to info@pitservice.hu. In this case, we will delete your message within one working day. We do not keep a copy, and your name will not be transferred to another list containing deleted messages. Data processing prior to the withdrawal of your consent is considered lawful.

3.2 Direct message to our public electronic mailing address

If you send a message directly to info@pitservice.hu or info@ejipos.org to contact us, we process your data as follows:

What data do we see about you, why do we process it, and on what basis?
You can also send a message directly to our public email address. With such a message, we learn your name, email address, and any other personal data you include in the message (e.g., profession, phone number, photo in your signature). We process this data based on your consent to conduct a conversation in writing or over the phone.

How long do we keep this data?
If no business relationship is established and you do not accept our offer, we will delete your email during our regular inbox cleaning, which we perform at least monthly.

What happens if you accept our offer?
If you accept our offer, we will file your original message in your own paper-based folder, because we will subsequently process your provided personal data based on the legal basis of a contract.

3.3 Contact by dialing our public phone number

What data do we see about you, why do we process it, and on what basis?
When calling the phone number displayed on our website, we will see your phone number. You will probably introduce yourself, so we will also learn your name. This is an absolutely necessary piece of data; we do not accept calls from unknown numbers. We process this data based on your consent so we can call you back if we cannot answer the phone.

How long do we keep this data?
If no business relationship is established, we do not save the phone number or the associated name. Our call log is automatically deleted on the device; incoming, outgoing, and missed calls are stored for 14 days.

What happens if we stay in touch?
If this is not just a one-time conversation and a long-term business relationship develops, we will write your phone number on your filed folder and save it on our phone to ensure the smooth running of our working relationship. Subsequently, we process your provided personal data based on the legal basis of a contract.

3.4 Fulfilling our billing obligations

What data do we see about you, why do we process it, and on what basis?
We primarily issue our invoices electronically. For invoicing, we request the following data: billing name, billing address, tax number, email address. If your business does not accept electronic invoices, we will send them in paper format; in this case, we only ask for the name and mailing address. If you also want to receive the paper invoice scanned via email, we will need your email address as well. We request that invoices be settled by bank transfer; the bank statement contains the name and bank account number. Invoicing is our legal obligation, so requesting this data is necessary.

How long do we keep this data?
The retention period is not our decision; the law requires us to keep it for the year of issue plus eight more years.

What happens if you do not provide the requested data?
We cannot fulfill our billing obligations, and therefore it is impossible to provide the requested service.

3.5 Our website also uses cookies (Google Analytics & CookieYes)

A cookie is a small file placed on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies have numerous functions. Among other things, they collect information, remember the visitor's individual settings, and generally make the website easier to use.

The EJIPOS website uses the Google Analytics 4 (GA4) service to collect anonymized visitor statistics, and the CookieYes system to manage user consents (GDPR Consent Mode v2). Analytical data collection only starts after your explicit consent is given in the cookie banner.

We also warn you that our site may occasionally be connected to our social media pages. These social media platforms may also place cookies on your machine, including those that collect personal data about you. We do not get to know or see this data.

If you do not want these pages to place cookies on your machine, please manage your settings on the consent management interface (CookieYes) appearing on the website, or turn off the option in your own browser. Today, it is very easy to turn off cookies in browsers (e.g., by clicking the padlock icon in Chrome, or in the Settings menu in Safari).

We do not engage in activities based on automated decision-making. We also do not perform profiling, so such decisions cannot apply to our clients.

You can also enforce your rights in court. You can do this within the framework of a civil lawsuit. Adjudication falls within the jurisdiction of the regional court. You must file the claim with the regional court of your residence (you can find the list of regional courts in Hungary here: http://birosag.hu/torvenyszekek).

Our policy entered into force on August 17, 2026, and as soon as new guidelines, resolutions, or detailed rules become known that require us to modify it, we will review the content. If our business scope changes or we introduce new marketing tools (such as analytics), we will also rewrite and supplement it.
